Elon Musk has called for “remigration” in response to the U.K.’s migrant crisis, stating earlier that Europe will “die out” if birth rates do not increase.

On September 1, Musk wrote, “Remigration is the only way” in response to an X post by Steve Laws, a politician for the British right-wing Homeland Party.

“Remigration” is a concept popularized by patriotic organizations around Europe, such as the Identitarian movement, that are deemed to be “far-right” by mainstream media and are often under surveillance from secret services. These groups argue that globalist elites are deliberately using mass migration in conjunction with low birth rates to replace native European populations with foreigners.

Musk’s use of the term could help to make the concept acceptable among mainstream conservatives and broader parts of the public, potentially increasing the chances of mass deportations of illegal aliens in Europe.

Steve Laws’s original social media post said:

Go anywhere in the U.K. and look around. You’ll see foreigners everywhere.

It’s truly sickening the damage that has been done to our nation and our people.

We have to stop immigration and start remigration before we can even begin to reverse the damage that has been done.

Musk’s call for remigration comes amid massive anti-immigration protests that swept across the U.K. over the past weeks.

The left-wing government under Prime Minister Keir Starmer has used excessive force in its attempt to silence critics of mass migration. The case of Lucy Connolly, a mother who spent more than a year in prison over a tweet, made international headlines.

 

Two days earlier, Musk had once more warned about low birth rates and declining native populations in Europe.

“Unless the birth rate at least gets back to replacement rate, Europe will die out,” he said in response to a post by U.S. Senator Mike Lee, who warned about population collapse in Scotland.

Musk has spoken out about the looming catastrophe of collapsing populations many times in the past, and urged Europeans to have “large families.”

Most European countries have birthrates below 1.5, while some countries (like Spain) have as few as 1.1 children per woman. To maintain the population, a birth rate of approximately 2.1 is required.
